Ticket Security Features

Ticket security is becoming more important. With advances in digital imaging technology, it's becoming easier to produce duplicate event tickets. This is why our event tickets include a number of effective security features to detour potential ticket fraud.

Unique Barcodes

Our tickets feature a unique barcode and order number placed on the back of each ticket. Simply having a unique barcode and ID on the back of each ticket will usually stop most people from creating fraudulent tickets. If you have a barcode scanner in the correct format, it is possible to scan each ticket to make sure each barcode and ID is unique. Check with our customer support staff to determine what barcode format is being used.

Watermark & Security Microtext

For your protection, we print a watermark (the Eventgroove logo) and security micro text on the body section of the back of each ticket. This text is faint and extremely small and is not legible when copied.

High Security, Heat-Sensitive Ticket Stock

For extra security, we also offer Kan't Kopy Security ticket stock. This 65# Cover Stock paper has a Pantograph (hidden message) - When an unauthorized person tries to copy or scan the original, a hidden message appears

With our Design Your Own tool or our Custom Design service, you may add extra unique barcodes.
